What agents ask before they contract.
Do I have to give up my current carrier contracts?
Not necessarily. Some agents come to us with just a contract or two, and we’ll talk through what makes sense for your situation. That said, to take full advantage of everything TMS offers — including the OmniReach CRM — we do require appointments with the four major carriers: UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Aetna, and HealthSpring. Some exceptions apply, so don’t hesitate to ask your recruiter.
Am I an employee of TMS?
No. Our Medicare agents are independent 1099 producers. You own your book, you own your relationships, and you control your schedule. TMS provides the FMO infrastructure, training, tools, and marketing support around you.
How does the marketing money actually work?
TMS Cash is production-based — the more qualifying business you write, the more marketing dollars you earn (up to $900/month). Use it on digital ads, direct mail, leads, events, or approved marketing activities. Marketing benefits are subject to eligibility, production thresholds, and CMS marketing rules.
What's the training like if I'm new to Medicare?
You’ll start with MedicareAgentIQ — a 12-hour self-study course to get you going — plus weekly 1-on-1 coaching, live SOA and compliance updates every month, and hands-on support inside the TMS Agent Cockpit. You’re never left to figure it out alone.
Do you actually reimburse AHIP and E&O?
Yes. AHIP and E&O are reimbursed on qualifying production, per our current agent agreement. Your recruiter can walk through the specifics and thresholds for your situation before you sign anything
What states are you actively recruiting in?
TMS is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, and actively growing across Texas markets — including San Antonio, Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Waco, McAllen, and the Rio Grande Valley. Ask your recruiter about carrier availability and licensing in your specific area.
Is the CRM really free?
The OmniReach CRM is provided at no cost to TMS-contracted agents in good standing. Standard usage fees (like carrier-billed messaging surcharges) may apply where noted, but the core platform, automations, and support are included.
